Vendoni Woodfairy, LMT
Massage and Yoga
Born and raised in the north central Ozarks Region close to where the Osage River is let free at Bagnell dam, I am a devoted Ozarkian. For the last 25 years, I have been active in promoting sustainable ecological practices and peaceful coexistence through local grassroots efforts. My home life, now farther south close to where Beaver Creek meets the Gasconade River, is filled with homesteading and networking mutually positive neighborly exchanges. I share a thriving existence in a wood stove heated cabin with my partner Ken, two dogs, and two cats. Together we enjoy gardening and learning to harvest wild edibles and, in general, living lightly on the Earth.

Shane Burr, L.A.c
Licensed Acupunturist & Chinese Herbalist
Born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas and relocated to the beautiful Ozarks in 2006. I originally witnessed acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) while studying for one semester at MSU- West Plains campus in Dalian, China. During this time I fell in love with the Chinese people and their culture. Several years after coming home I suffered a traumatic knee injury which led to a few surgeries. After many months of agonizing pain I turned to acupuncture and experienced amazing results. I then decided to move to Florida and study Oriental medicine where I learned that acupuncture treats much more than just pain. To learn more about what acupuncture can treat visit www.ahs-springfield.com.
I obtained my Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine in June, 2014 from Florida College of Integrative Medicine and moved back to the Ozarks to open my practice. I’m a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Missouri and a Chinese herbalist. I’ve now realized that many smaller communities like Mountain Grove do not have access to a Licensed Acupuncturist so I will be travelling to provide my services in those communities. I will see patients in Mountain Grove the third Wednesday of each month. The cost of acupuncture treatment is $60.00 which includes consultation and acupuncture treatment and if needed, cupping therapy and tuina. For more information on my services or to book an appointment call (417) 886-2820 or email email@example.com.
